90-Day Plan

Definition

A strategic action plan covering the next 90 days, with clear goals, key projects, and weekly milestones, giving structure and focus to a quarter at a time.

Why it matters

90 days is the ideal planning horizon: short enough to stay relevant, long enough to achieve meaningful results. Founders without a 90-day plan tend to react to urgency rather than creating momentum.

Example

A founder's Q3 90-day plan: launch a new service (month 1), run a beta cohort (month 2), refine and open to the public (month 3). Weekly actions are mapped to each milestone.
