Accountability Group

Definition

A small group of peers who meet regularly to share goals, progress, and challenges, creating social accountability that increases the likelihood of following through.

Why it matters

Accountability dramatically increases goal completion rates. External commitment, knowing someone else will ask, triggers follow-through that internal motivation alone often cannot.

Example

Four founders in a WhatsApp group share their weekly top priorities on Monday and report back on Friday. Meeting commitments increases 80% compared to self-accountability alone.
