Batching
Definition
Grouping similar tasks together and completing them in one dedicated session, recording all videos on one day, handling all admin on one morning, writing all emails in one block.
Why it matters
Context-switching between different types of tasks destroys productivity. Batching reduces cognitive overhead, builds momentum within a task type, and creates predictable, protected time for different work modes.
Example
A founder batches all content creation to Tuesday and Wednesday: she records 8 videos, films 12 Reels, and writes 4 newsletters. The rest of the week is reserved for client work and strategy.
