Brand Collaboration
Definition
A partnership between two non-competing brands to co-create content, products, or campaigns, sharing each other's audiences in the process.
Why it matters
Brand collaborations let you reach a warm, qualified audience at a fraction of the cost of paid advertising. Done well, both brands gain credibility by association.
Example
A yoga wear brand partners with a wellness retreat to create a limited-edition kit. Both brands cross-promote to their audiences and share a percentage of sales.
