Brand Voice

Definition

The consistent personality, tone, and language style your brand uses across all communications, how you sound in emails, captions, ads, and customer service.

Why it matters

Brand voice makes you recognisable. When your brand sounds the same everywhere, it builds familiarity and trust. Inconsistent voice confuses your audience and dilutes brand equity.

Example

Innocent Smoothies brand voice: warm, witty, conversational, slightly cheeky. Every label, email, and tweet sounds like the same person. That consistency is worth millions in brand recognition.
