Bridge Page

Definition

An intermediate page between an ad and a final destination that pre-frames the offer, warms up the visitor, and increases the relevance and context before they reach the sales page or opt-in form.

Why it matters

Sending cold traffic directly to a sales page often converts poorly because visitors arrive without context. A bridge page tells the story, qualifies the visitor, and builds anticipation, making the final conversion step far more effective.

Example

A founder runs an ad to cold traffic and sends visitors to a bridge page first. The page shares a short personal story, explains exactly who the offer is for, and lists three outcomes the reader will experience. By the time they click through to the sales page, they are pre-sold and significantly more likely to buy.
