Browser DevTools
Definition
Built-in developer tools available in every modern browser (right-click → Inspect). Includes a console for errors, a network panel for API calls, and element inspector for HTML/CSS.
Why it matters
DevTools are free and always available, even non-developers can use them to see why something looks broken, check if an API call succeeded, or inspect a competitor's webpage.
Example
A founder notices her homepage looks wrong on mobile. She opens DevTools, switches to mobile view, and identifies the CSS causing the layout break, without writing any code.
