Buyer Persona
Definition
A semi-fictional profile of a typical customer, including their goals, frustrations, demographics, and buying behaviour, used to guide marketing and product decisions.
Why it matters
A clear persona keeps your whole team focused on a real human rather than a vague crowd, so your messaging, features, and offers speak directly to the right person.
Example
A founder creates a persona named Busy Bridget, a 34-year-old working mum who shops on her phone at night, and writes her product pages with Bridget in mind.
