Closing the Sale

Definition

The moment in a sales conversation where you ask for the commitment, the clear, confident invitation for the prospect to say yes and move forward.

Why it matters

Most founders present their offer and then wait, hoping the client will volunteer to pay. Closing is a learnable skill, the direct ask dramatically increases conversion.

Example

"Based on everything we've discussed, I think [package X] is the perfect fit. I have one space starting next month. Shall we go ahead?" That is a close. Simple, direct, confident.
