Content Moat
Definition
A large, high-quality archive of content that is difficult and expensive for competitors to replicate, creating a sustainable competitive advantage through SEO, trust, and audience loyalty.
Why it matters
A deep content moat compounds over time. New competitors cannot catch up overnight because the moat represents years of consistent publishing, thousands of backlinks, and deep audience trust that cannot be manufactured quickly.
Example
A founder who has published two detailed blog posts per week for four years has built a content moat of over 400 articles. A new competitor would need years to produce equivalent volume and earn equivalent authority.
