Customer Relationship Management
Definition
A system (software or spreadsheet) for tracking all interactions with leads and customers. Their contact details, history, notes, and where they are in your pipeline.
Why it matters
Without a CRM, leads fall through the cracks. A CRM ensures every interested prospect gets followed up, and every customer relationship is remembered and nurtured.
Example
Your CRM shows: Sarah enquired in March, had a discovery call, received a proposal, went quiet. Your CRM reminds you to follow up in May. You do. She books. That sale was a CRM.
