Cross-Promotion
Definition
A collaboration where two complementary brands promote each other to their respective audiences, generating mutual exposure without paid advertising costs.
Why it matters
Cross-promotion gives you warm access to an aligned audience for free. It works best when both audiences would genuinely benefit from both brands.
Example
A yoga instructor and a nutritionist promote each other's programmes to their email lists. Both gain 200 new subscribers from a single campaign.
