CTA
Call to Action
Definition
A prompt that tells a visitor exactly what to do next, "Buy Now," "Join the Waitlist," "Download the Guide," "Book a Call."
Why it matters
Without a clear CTA, visitors leave without taking action. Every page should have one primary CTA. Confusion causes inaction.
Example
A landing page with three different CTAs, "Learn more," "Follow us," and "Buy now", performs 40% worse than the same page with a single focused CTA: "Get Instant Access."
