Customer Persona
Definition
A detailed fictional profile of your ideal customer, including demographics, goals, challenges, objections, and buying behaviour, used to guide marketing and product decisions.
Why it matters
Marketing without a customer persona is guessing. With a vivid persona, every content piece, product decision, and message is written for one specific person, which paradoxically resonates with many.
Example
"Marketing Mary", 34-year-old founder, runs a service business, earns £60-80K, wants to scale to £200K but is overwhelmed and doubts herself. Every piece of content the founder creates speaks to Mary.
