Digital Course

Definition

A structured online learning product, video lessons, workbooks, and resources. That teaches a skill or transformation and is sold as a one-time purchase or subscription.

Why it matters

Digital courses are highly scalable. A course created once can be sold to thousands with zero additional delivery cost. Margins are typically 80-95%.

Example

You spend 40 hours creating a "Launch Your Shopify Store" course. You sell it for £197. After the first £200 in tools/software, every sale is near-pure profit. 100 sales = £19,700.
