Earned Media
Definition
Press coverage, social shares, reviews, or mentions you get for free, because your story, product, or content was genuinely worth talking about.
Why it matters
Earned media carries far more credibility than paid ads because it comes from a third party. A feature in a respected publication can drive more trust than £10,000 of advertising.
Example
A small skincare brand gets a mention in Vogue without paying for it because a journalist genuinely loved the product.
