Go-to-Market Strategy

GTM Strategy

Definition

The plan for how you will launch a product or enter a market, defining your target customer, channels, messaging, pricing, and timeline.

Why it matters

A GTM strategy prevents you from building something great and then not knowing how to sell it. Execution without strategy is just expensive experimentation.

Example

For a new digital planner: Target, female founders aged 25-35. Channel, Instagram + email list. Price, £27. Launch, Monday email to list → social push Tuesday to Thursday → flash sale Friday.
