Habit Stacking
Definition
A technique for building new habits by linking them to existing ones, doing the new behaviour immediately before or after an established routine.
Why it matters
Habit stacking reduces the mental effort of starting new habits. Attaching a new behaviour to one you already do reliably dramatically increases the chance it sticks.
Example
A founder wants to review her daily revenue each morning. She stacks it onto her existing coffee-making habit: "While the coffee brews, I check yesterday's revenue dashboard."
