Inbound Sales

Definition

A sales process where prospects come to you first, via content, referrals, or organic discovery, meaning the buyer already has interest before any sales contact is made.

Why it matters

Inbound sales conversations are warmer, faster, and have higher close rates than cold outreach. Building an inbound system frees founders from the exhaustion of constant cold selling.

Example

A founder who writes SEO-optimised articles about her niche receives regular enquiries from people who found her content, read it, and decided they wanted to work with her, before she even reached out.
