Knowledge Product
Definition
A digital product that packages expertise, skills, or experience into a consumable format, such as an online course, ebook, template, workshop, or membership, that can be sold repeatedly without additional delivery effort.
Why it matters
Knowledge products separate income from time. A course created once can be sold thousands of times without the founder delivering more hours. They are the foundation of most scalable education-based businesses.
Example
A marketing consultant who previously charged £150 per hour for her time creates a £297 course teaching her exact methodology. She can now earn £150 per hour or £297 for a one-time creation, and the course generates revenue every day without her involvement.
