Key Performance Indicator
Definition
A specific, measurable metric that tells you whether your business is on track toward a particular goal.
Why it matters
What gets measured gets managed. KPIs turn vague ambitions into trackable targets. Every part of your business should have at least one clear KPI.
Example
KPIs for an e-commerce store: Monthly Revenue | Conversion Rate | AOV | Customer Acquisition Cost | Email List Growth Rate. Track weekly, review monthly.
