Lead Nurturing
Definition
The process of building relationships with potential customers at every stage of the buying journey through relevant, timely content and communication, moving them gradually toward a purchase decision.
Why it matters
Most leads are not ready to buy immediately. A systematic nurturing process keeps a brand top of mind, builds trust over time, and ensures that when the prospect is ready to buy, the brand they choose is the one they have been hearing from consistently.
Example
A founder captures email addresses through a free guide. Over the following six weeks, new subscribers receive a sequence of emails sharing case studies, addressing common objections, and offering a free strategy call. By the time she presents her paid offer, recipients feel they already know and trust her.
