Limited Edition

Definition

A product released in a restricted quantity or for a limited time, creating scarcity, desirability, and urgency.

Why it matters

Limited editions command higher prices, drive faster purchases, and generate press and social buzz that standard releases do not. Scarcity is a feature, not a limitation.

Example

You release a Christmas edition candle, only 300 made. You announce it as limited edition. It sells out in 4 days. The same candle in your standard range sits for weeks.
