Lookbook

Definition

A curated set of photographs that shows your products styled together as a collection, made to sell a feeling and a world rather than a single item. Common in fashion, beauty and design brands.

Why it matters

A lookbook is how a brand signals taste and price level before a word is read. It lifts perceived value and gives retailers, press and customers one polished reference for the whole range.

Example

A new label shoots ten outfits from its first collection on one model in one location, then sends the lookbook to boutiques and uses the images across its site and social.
