Micro-Niche
Definition
An extremely specific subsegment of a larger niche, defined by a very particular combination of audience characteristics, problem, and context that allows a creator or business to become the undisputed authority for that exact group.
Why it matters
The narrower the niche, the easier it is to dominate. A micro-niche has less competition, more specific audience needs, and audiences willing to pay premium prices for solutions that feel made exactly for them.
Example
Rather than targeting "women in business," a founder niches down to "female e-commerce founders selling sustainable children's clothing." The specificity allows her to speak with intimate precision, become the only recognised expert for that exact group, and command premium coaching rates.
