MVP

Minimum Viable Product

Definition

The simplest version of your product that delivers enough value for early customers to pay for it, and gives you real user feedback to iterate from.

Why it matters

Building a full product before validating it is one of the most common and expensive founder mistakes. An MVP lets you learn with the least amount of time, money, and risk.

Example

Instead of building a full SaaS app, you create a spreadsheet-based version of your product and manually do the work for your first 10 paying customers. That spreadsheet IS your MVP.
