Narrative Positioning
Definition
The practice of framing your brand through a compelling story that situates the customer as the hero, your product as the guide, and the transformation as the journey. Borrowed from screenwriting principles applied to brand building.
Why it matters
Brands that tell stories outperform brands that list features. Humans are wired to respond to narrative. A brand with a clear narrative builds emotional connection that price cannot disrupt.
Example
Instead of "We offer 12 week business programs," a founder positions: "You have the idea. You have the drive. You just need the system. We built it." The second version speaks directly to the customer's existing belief and positions the brand as the guide.
