Newsletter Sponsorship
Definition
A paid advertising arrangement where a brand pays to have their message featured in an email newsletter, reaching the newsletter's engaged subscriber base.
Why it matters
Newsletter sponsorships are one of the highest-converting advertising formats because newsletters have self-selected, trusting audiences. For creators, they are a scalable income stream.
Example
A finance newsletter with 20,000 subscribers charges £500 per sponsored section. At two sponsors per issue, three issues per month = £3,000/month in sponsorship revenue.
