Objection Handling

Definition

The skill of addressing potential client concerns, "it's too expensive," "I need to think about it," "I'm not ready", without pressuring, by reframing and providing clarity.

Why it matters

Objections are not rejections. They are requests for more information or reassurance. Founders who handle objections well close significantly more sales without discounting.

Example

"It's too expensive." → "I totally understand. What would this solution need to do for you to make the investment worthwhile?" Then listen. The objection becomes a value conversation.
