Payment Plan
Definition
Breaking a larger price into smaller instalments paid over time, reducing the upfront financial barrier to purchase.
Why it matters
A payment plan can double or triple conversions for high-ticket offers by removing the cash barrier, even if customers pay more in total. The majority of people think in monthly amounts.
Example
Your course costs £997 upfront, conversion rate 2%. You add a 3-month payment plan at £375/month (£1,125 total). Conversion rises to 5.5%. More buyers, slightly higher total revenue per buyer.
