Quality Control

Definition

The process of inspecting products. Your own or from a supplier, to ensure they meet your standards before they reach customers.

Why it matters

One batch of defective products can destroy your review score, trigger a wave of returns, and permanently damage your brand. Prevention is dramatically cheaper than recovery.

Example

Before accepting a 500-unit order from your supplier, you request 5 samples. You check stitching, size accuracy, and print quality. If samples fail, you reject the batch before it ships.
