Repeat Purchase Rate

Definition

The percentage of customers who buy from you more than once over a period.

Why it matters

A high repeat purchase rate means people love your product enough to return, which lowers how much you must spend winning new customers.

Example

Of 1,000 customers this year, 280 bought again, so your repeat purchase rate is 28%.
