Scope creep is one of the most common causes of project profitability problems. Clear contracts with defined deliverables, paired with confident change request conversations, prevent it.

A designer agrees to design a 5-page website. The client keeps adding pages, asking for logo redesign, and requesting social media templates. This is scope creep, extra work that should be charged for.
