Speaking Circuit
Definition
The network of conferences, events, podcasts, and stages where industry experts and thought leaders are invited to present, and the career path of building a reputation that generates consistent speaking invitations.
Why it matters
Speaking at events builds authority, generates leads, and creates content simultaneously. A founder who becomes known on the speaking circuit is handed audiences and credibility that would take years of content creation to build independently.
Example
A founder deliberately pitches to five industry conferences per year, offers free talks locally to build a reputation, and publishes every speaking engagement on her website. Within 18 months she is receiving inbound invitations and commands a speaking fee. Each engagement generates three to five qualified inbound enquiries.
