Subscription Box
Definition
A recurring product box delivered on a schedule (monthly, quarterly), curated around a theme, with new products or variations each time.
Why it matters
Subscription boxes create predictable MRR from a product business. Each subscriber represents locked-in future revenue, dramatically improving cash flow forecasting.
Example
You launch a self-care subscription at £28/month. 150 subscribers sign up. MRR = £4,200. Even if each box costs £14 to curate and post, monthly gross profit = £2,100.
