Warm Lead

Definition

A potential customer who has already shown genuine interest in your product or service. They followed you, downloaded something, attended a webinar, or made an enquiry.

Why it matters

Warm leads convert at 5-10× the rate of cold leads because the trust and awareness barrier has already been partially cleared. Prioritise warm leads in your sales pipeline.

Example

Someone who downloaded your free pricing guide, watched your webinar last week, and then messaged asking about your programme is a warm lead. They need a conversation, not a cold pitch.
