White Label

Definition

A product or service produced by one company but rebranded and sold by another as their own, the buyer puts their brand on someone else's product.

Why it matters

White labelling lets you sell products or services without the cost and time of developing them from scratch. Common in supplements, software, and digital services.

Example

You launch a "Brand Accelerator App", powered by a white-labelled CRM tool you have rebranded with your colours and logo. You own the customer relationship; the underlying tech is someone else's.
