Wireframe

Definition

A low-fidelity visual blueprint of a webpage or app screen, showing layout, structure, and content hierarchy without colours, images, or final design.

Why it matters

Wireframes let you plan and validate structure before investing time in full design or development. Changing a wireframe is free; changing a built page is expensive.

Example

Before building a new sales page, a founder sketches the wireframe in Figma: hero section → problem → solution → testimonials → pricing → FAQ → CTA.
